Yesterday was my Bridal Shower!!
While I was getting my hair done my Dad gave me a teeny card telling me "that there's a change in plans, go with Dad to your shower's surprise location". Turns out, they were faking it the whole time. We originally planned on having the shower at Kathy Peace's house. But no! They have it at this really pretty place in Downtown Fort Pierce, Cobb's Landing. It's right on the water and there's windows all around the banquet room.
The theme/decor was also a surprise!! They Lillyfied everything! The wedding is also Lilly Pulitzer/Pink + Green so I dressed the part luckily. :)
Everything was perfect.
I'd like to thank everyone for all of our lovely gifts! We have just about everything we need!
Thank you Mommy and Daddy!
Lots of thanks to KTP + Camille - the great and helpful bridesmaids!
And of course, my MOH, Aunt Loey! Thank you so so so much for my perfect shower! I couldn't have imagined it any other way.

Love you all! We'll see you at the wedding!

tick tock...
199 days to go!
We've been counting down until this moment, until it was no longer two-hundred-something days to go.
It's getting here quickly!!

*beep* . . . *beep*
Hey everyone!
We registered pretty much all day yesterday... Quite fun, quite tiring. Boy, were we pooped at the end of the day.
First we went to Bed Bath & Beyond to get an idea of what we want, exactly. Also to compare quality, prices, etc. with Target.
We found a few things right away, so we knew we had to do BB&B.
Then off to Target we went. Target was really easy, they hand you the scanner gun and you're good. We registered for a few things there.
BB&B is where it got exhausting - we asked if we could start a registry, where they directed us towards "The Lavender Room". Come to find out, every BB&B has one. It's a little lavender painted corner room, with a little desk where a "bridal registry consultant" sits. We sat there for about 30 minutes waiting for her to type in our wedding information and stuff.
This was just the beginning.
So we finally get to have the scanner to ourselves, and we registered for some items we saw previously. We're about 10 minutes in and the manager of the store tracks us down and introduces himself. About 10 minutes after that, mid-registering, he tracks us down again with a few papers in his hand.
"Umm... hey guys I was just looking over your registry...
I think you need to register for a bit more, I mean you only put 4 towels..."
Can you say creeeeperrrr?
Then he began telling us the "Aluminum Rooster" story. Where if you don't register for enough items, one of your best friends will end up buying you an aluminum rooster that you'll have to keep just to show your bff you love them. (Please, don't buy us any aluminum farm animals.)
Yeah, so we were a bit freaked out by that point, thinking they were all sitting in the lavender room watching us through security cameras and printing out our registry every 10 seconds.
Despite their creeping and pushing to register for a thousand items, there is a lot more at BB&B than Target for us. We added the items that are practical and what we need.
All in all, it was fun. We'll definitely remember it!
